It is important to be aware of the standards and regulations that impact flooring preparation on-site. Our PREPARATION Guide provides a summary of the requirements and guidance on which products best suit different situation found on-site. If you require more information, contact one of the PROBOND experts for more advice.

British Standard BS 8204 should be referred to. The substrate must be strong and stable, dry and free from contamination. It must be laitance free and free from fines. This includes dust, oil, grease, water soluble adhesive residue and weak smoothing underlayments.

DPM & MOISTURE SUPPRESSANT
Test in accordance with BS 8203, BS 5325 and BS 8201.

DAMP FLOOR (RH 75% - 95%) / Functioning Structural DPM
USING A DPM – PR295 doesn’t require a primer.

If PR298 is used, use PR200
